Biometrics Northwest LLC was formed on September 1, 2004 with Kevin
R. Gehringer, Ph.D. as the principal and managing member, as a Washington
State limited liability company to provide biometrical and statistical
consulting services to clients located within the State of Washington.
In June of 2002 Kevin started a biometrics and statistics consulting
business to support several organizations interested in developing
quantitative methods for defining multivariate assessment procedures
for use in their forest management applications. Two years later
this work was still going on, and had expanded to include the modeling
of large woody debris availability in natural and managed riparian
forests. Biometrics Northwest LLC was created to establish a formal
business structure from which biometrical and statistical consulting
services could be provided to a potentially broader audience.
